The hotel complex that we present for sale is located next to the park area in the town of Malko Tarnovo.

Unique nature and history

Strandzha is the largest protected natural area in Bulgaria, created to preserve unique ecosystems and biodiversity, as well as to preserve the original Strandzha folklore, culture and historical heritage.

Its territory is over 1% of the country's territory. Strandzha is the only Bulgarian territory included in the five priority areas for protection in Central and Eastern Europe. The second largest bird migration route in Europe - Via Pontica - passes over Strandzha. The total number of habitat types is 121, and according to this indicator the park ranks first among the protected areas in Europe.

Here is the first Bulgarian reserve "Silkosia" (1933). The nature park has the greatest species diversity in all biological groups and is a protected area of global conservation importance. The exceptional Strandzha biodiversity is due to the geological past of Strandzha, the climate and the unique geographical location - the crossroads between Europe, the Mediterranean and Asia. Here you can go from a centuries-old oak forest through a typical Mediterranean landscape and reach the beach through a humid floodplain forest within just a few kilometers. There are several marked eco-trails in the park.

Apart from the variety of protected plant and animal species, one of the symbols of Strandzha is the fire dances - an old ritual with pagan roots, in which people dance on embers. In the region of Strandzha are preserved many monuments of spiritual and material culture from previous eras.
