Apriltsi is picturesquely nestled at the foot of Mount Botev, Margidik and Ostrets. In the immediate vicinity is the Northern Jendem reserve. Five eco-trails lead to the famous Vidim spray, Botev peak, the magnetic Rusalka peak, also known as Maragidik.

The diverse terrain also provides opportunities for mountain biking. Through the small mountain villages and hamlets, through the paths in the forest, unique views are revealed.
